Challenge

Express Chipping, Inc delivers chipping services with a high degree of focus to not only quality of service but quality of information.  From small fleets to large fleets management use of our data centric information assists in not only determining accurate frequency of service but also increase safety as well as management personnel decisions.

As part of its commitment to delivering the best possible chipping services and assist with fostering production capabilities, Express Chipping decided to implement the CMMS system. It provides measurements on quantity, frequency and highlights requirements from job site to job site. The CMMS system helps gain insight for improvement throughout the scheduling and dispatching capabilities.

Solution 

Each of Express Chipping, Incs service vehicles are now equipped with the  CCMS system, which combines employee accountability safety reports but also predictive analytics to measure and manage chipping requirements. The sensors monitor Vin #’s, Load Size, Age of Drum, Drum thickness for optimum consistency. Thanks to these automated capabilities, Express Chipping, Inc now remotely confirms all the work to be performed. CCMS system automatically adjusts the frequency and chipping requirements for each truck.

The real power of the CMMS system is in the data it collects from ready-mix trucks, which is readily accessible through a custom dashboard for customers. With this actionable data, ready mix companies can identify and resolve productivity and driver issues.
